| As a lifelong resident of the Gainesville, Hall County area, I can legitimately say that I "know the Lake". Lake Lanier has over 600 miles of shoreline consisting of many fingers and peninsulas, making it difficult to get a handle on - unless you've been around it all of your life.
I've been involved in the sale of Lake Lanier property for over 27 years and have over $150,000,000 of sales on Lake Lanier. Additionally I developed a 43 lot subdivision on the Lake.
When I tell you that this area is a great place to live, I mean it. Since I was a child I have skied, jet-skied, fished, floated and played on Lake Lanier. I've driven around the Lake on a lazy Sunday afternoon and watched the sun set and the moon rise; to me there is no more beautiful place in the entire Southeast.
